Hack sunrocket gizmo

No problems with it til now. Now this Innomedia gizmo is showing blinking Red, even after repeated power off and Ons. Sun Rocket is no longer taking customer service calls. Opened request, got reply saying with in 48 hrs somebody will respond. Is there any tech support? Or is Sunrocket bankrupt? They have halted operations and it looks like customers will be transferred to another provider. Seems they spent too much trying to acquire customers…. Since yesterday the run light on my gizmo has started flashing red.

Yesterday sometimes the phone would work but mostly it would not. Does this have anything to do with the current SR problem or is my gizmo bad and just a conincidence in timing. I have signed up with lingo and have received their gizmo, featuring effective emergency calling technologies. I think their gizmo will run finely well. Till now, I had no such problem as I had before with my SunRocket gizmo.

Matthew, while I have not tried hooking my gizmo up to the home wiring, I expect it should work as well as the majicjack. Two important caveats with that, though. First, be sure to disconnect the incoming line to the house from the phone companies network. That line carries power and has the ability at least in theory to fry any device that is not expecting to have a hot wire plugged into the phone port.

Second, the gizmo may not have enough power to ring more than a couple phones at a time. Maybe someone who has tried can give us an idea on the upper limits they have experienced? I would be surprised if they could call directly to GizmoProject numbers, though since I doubt they are on connected networks. You should, however, be able to call your GrandCentral number from your majicjack number and get it to ring your GizmoProject phone.
