To apply to any of our undergraduate programs except the Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students and Parsons Associate of Applied Science programs complete and submit the Common App online. Narwhal Leadership Institute The Narwhal Leadership Institute gives first- and second-year undergraduate students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and gain practical leadership experience.

Launch Your Leadership: A Conference The Leadership Conference took place in October and featured more than 15 leadership sessions covering a variety of topics. During the retreat, you will learn transferable leadership skills, meet other New School leaders, and make connections.

This two-day retreat is a great way to start building your New School community. All students are encouraged to apply, but space is limited! Application information will be available soon. By driving responsible growth, we deliver for clients and address pressing societal issues, including advancing employment opportunities for youth and young adults. The students hail from many diverse backgrounds, but are united by their drive and commitment. Through paid internships with local nonprofits and participation in a national leadership summit, they gain practical work and life experience.

Student Leaders in classroom. They then all come to DC for Student Leaders Summit where they look at the connection between business, nonprofits and government and how we work together to solve problems. And they go to the hill they meet with the congressional group from their district to talk about the issues in their community, and what they want to see addressed. And they come back from DC with a renewed interest in how they can really use their voice to change the world.

The most interesting aspect was there were no formal interviews during the application process. Ellie Morrissey, who will graduate with an MPH in international health and sustainable development, appreciated the help she got from the Career Services Office. She hopes to find positions that would use her academic focus on data analysis and program design, but is also interested in working with health policy, communications, or emergency response.

She also feels the program will be a good bridge between academia and the work world. I also am very excited that no matter where you work for the most part there will be a network of other PMFs who are brand new as well. You can adapt to this new way of life with a bunch of people going through the exact same thing.

All three students have 12 months in which to secure an appointment, and some positions could offer loan forgiveness.
